So I’ve been a bit busy. To say the least.

We sold our house (Thank You God!). No, no, not THIS house, our other house. We ended up with 2 offers. Accepted the first and the 2nd came back with an even better offer (much) and so we set it up as an accepted back-up in case anything goes awry with the first. We are supposed to close (a.k.a. have money again. YAY!) on Thursday.

We have spent the past few weeks getting everything PERFECT for our new buyers. I’m so glad they are getting such an awesome first house.

We just got the info a bit ago that even though we have 2 accepted offers they STILL want to show our house tomorrow which really is NOT cool! I just spent several hours cleaning the floors and really didn’t want to have to do it again before we hand the house over. Oh well, it is a pretty good workout if I have to do it again.

If that’s not enough I have been researching a NEW business as well as possibly starting a TEEN group. Since for the life of me I cannot find anything in our area that offers what we are looking for. Seems there is much desire for such a group but no one CRAZY enough or able to tackle such a thing. Add in starting a new homeschool program and that is enough to make anyone nutso!  Pray for me, please!

It’s a problem I think many of us suffer from. In fact, I often speak my mind because it hurts so bad to bite my tongue. Goodness just take a drive on the highway and you will quickly see just how hard it can be.

Wonder where I am going with this?

It’s the thing I AM going to change this year. My speech may soon be a bit impaired due to a much shorter tongue, but by golly I am gonna change my evil ways!  I must remember God wants me to be kind because everyone you or I meet (or pass in the car) is fighting their own battle (I just struggle when I see them doing it on their cell phone).  Yikes!  This may be harder than I thought.

Wonder where all my old silliness has gone?  Well I’m all about starting afresh.  Don’t worry I’m sure we will have you scratching your head wondering if anyone actually thinks the way I do.  It’s silliness in it’s truest form.  Thank you very much.

Hey, did any of you run through your neighborhood clanging pots together at Midnite?  No? Me neither.  But we do have some neighbors that do it every year with their kiddos.  *Funny to watch.  Especially with ice on the streets.

Speaking of kiddos, my girlies wanted to celebrate with pizza and playing games.  Somehow it seems they will find ANY excuse to have pizza.  They are good kids that way.
